"  My son is 9 years old and has been taking lessons from Ms. Saito for just under a year.  His progress within that time is nothing short of remarkable.  He can read and play various types of music, play scales, studies music theory and has played in two recitals to date.  Ms. Saito's kind and positive reinforcement encourages him to learn while allowing him to feel accomplished each week and eager for more.   Ms. Saito was able to asses his strengths and weaknesses very early on, which has helped him tremendously.  She discreetly applies more emphasis and time during each lesson to new and more challenging concepts so that he can work independently during the week.  Her lessons are always structured, but fun.  Ms. Saito's skilled instruction brings the musician out in my child and he is compelled to do his best for her, which in turn benefits him directly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Saito, we feel so lucky to have her share her time and expertise with us every week! "   -- K.
